Environs Development Wins Gold Key Award for Custom Home on Seminary Avenue

December 10, 2013

Seminary Ave. 2Chicago Real Estate Forum and Marketing RELEVANCE congratulate Environs Development, Inc. for winning a Gold Key Award in the Architectural Design – Custom Home Over 4,000 square feet category for the home built on Seminary Avenue in Chicago. The Key Awards are the premier awards in the new home construction industry.

This home was designed and built as an inventory home for a future city dweller. Environs Development maximized the floor area and footprint of the building within zoning limitations. With the large footprint, the company worked to maximize outdoor space with a rear deck, a deck over the garage and a third floor deck on the roof of the house.

Seminary Ave.The grand limestone facade reflects a tailored, urban character and sets the tone for the luxurious interior. The first floor was designed to be open and flow from space to space while bringing in natural sunlight from the front and rear facades into the interior of the home. The central iron staircase and elevator link the four levels of living space. Classic pale gray walls and crisp white woodwork and cabinetry are offset by the dark hardwood floors. Upscale finishes and detailing provide a luxurious living environment for the buyer.
