  • D’amato’s Bakery. Looking to satisfy your sweet tooth? Try one of D’amato’s Bakery’s handmade cannolis. Sweets aren’t all they specialize in, though. The Bakery’s pizza, subs and breads are also mouthwateringly delicious.
  • Brew & Grow. Interested in crafting your own beer? Head to Brew & Grow on 19 S. Morgan St. to take classes and find everything you need to brew your own beer. Along with beer, Brew & Grow also offers supplies for making your own cheese and growing microgreens.

Entertainment and Recreation

  • National Hellenic Museum. It’s all Greek to them! Visit the museum to learn about Greek culture and about the contributions of Greek Americans. As the first and only museum dedicated to Greece’s history as well as modern progression, the National Hellenic Museum is a great way to learn about the Greeks. Educational events are held often and are open to the public.
  • The Mid. Enjoy a night out on the town at this West Loop nightclub/live music venue. Step out on the balcony to view the beautiful Chicago skyline, then head back inside to dance the night away on the large dance floors. Three full service bars and cozy booths and table seating will keep you coming back.
  • The Chicago Chamber Musicians (CCM). Spend the evening listening to some contemporary music played by the CCM. With more than 75 shows a year, there are plenty of opportunities to watch these amazing performances. The CCM is devoted to the study and performance of chamber music.
  • Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Contemporary dance is what keeps this professional dance studio touring nationally and internationally. Make sure to catch one of the studio’s riveting shows along their national tour.
