Warmup is Heating Up its Designs

March 10, 2014

3iE ThermostatKnown as the world’s best-selling electric floor heating brand, Warmup Inc. is now heating up its design department. The company’s innovative touch-screen, energy monitoring 3iE™ thermostat is in the process of undergoing a great faceplate design makeover.

In search of the perfect design, Warmup prompted design students and professional designers nationwide to help develop possible 3iE™ faceplate options at the beginning of 2014. The company released view-only samples of the new possible designs for the 3iE™ at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas in early February. KBIS attendees offered great feedback about the designs, and Warmup even received some inside advice from home design experts about this year’s color trends and how the company could add even more options to the already great lineup.

Currently, the 3iE is available in black, silver, white, cream, blue, green, pink and purple. Along with new color options, the updated 3iE™ will have either a chrome or bronze rim color.

Not only will the 3iE™’s new faceplate be even more appealing, it will also feature the same great capabilities. This energy monitoring thermostat for in floor heating systems provides users with a built-in ground fault circuit interrupter (GCFI), graphs of recorded energy consumption versus operating costs as well as recommendations for setting the system to be as efficient as possible.
