Has it been months since you’ve visited the Art of Institute of Chicago, but you don’t know when you’ll find time to make it back? Thanks to a partnership between Google and Chicago’s world famous art museum on Michigan Avenue, anyone can take a tour of the Art Institute of Chicago on their internet browser using Google Street View. The tour of Chicago’s Art Institute is one of hundreds of museum tours that Google has launched as a part of their Art Project, a campaign to make cultural institutions more accessible for those around the world. Want to see Paris Street; Rainy Day? Done. What about A Sunday on La Grande Jatte? It’s just a click away. Or perhaps you’d like to see American Gothic and Nighthawks. Now you can without ever leaving your desk.
