A Dozen Spots Around Chicago to Catch Fourth of July Fireworks

The Fourth of July is quickly approaching, which means that it is time to start planning out where to watch the grand fireworks show this year. Because it’s finally summer in Chicago, the city has been hosting fireworks displays at Navy Pier every Wednesday and Saturday evening since late May, however, the big Independence Day show only comes once a year. This year, the big fireworks show begins at 9:30pm on Friday the 4th. Mix yourself in with the crowds at Navy Pier, find a place to picnic and relax while ogling at the bright lights, or skip out on the crowds completely and watch the display from your neighbor’s rooftop deck.
