Shop till you drop

Shoppers can celebrate the shops on Wells Street at the third annual Shop Wells Showcase. Enjoy fashion workshops, trunk shows and various in-store discounts. 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Between the 1300 and 1700 blocks of North Wells Street.

Art appreciation

Find art, furnishings, jewelry and more at the 30th annual American Craft Exposition, an indoor event featuring work by more than 150 juried artists from across the U.S., including ceramics (pictured) by artist Jennifer McCurdy. $15 admission. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Bowling with a benefit

Put your bowling shoes on and get tips on knocking down the pins from PBA champion and coach Bill Spigner at Battle Buddy Bowling-Chicago. Admission includes all-you-can-eat pizza, raffle prizes and the chance to meet former White Sox broadcaster Jimmy Piersall. Proceeds benefit the Puppy Rescue Mission, a nonprofit organization that helps reunite war veterans with their pets. 1:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday. $25; $15 children 12 and younger.
