Ever find yourself strolling down Logan, Kedzie or Humboldt Boulevards, wondering what the historic Logan Square homes look like on the inside? On September 13, docents from Logan Square Preservation will be leading a home and garden tour that will highlight seven historic 19th century homes along Palmer and Humboldt Boulevards. Logan Square Preservation president Andrew Schneider tells us that, “The event shows off the great community when more than one hundred people volunteer their Saturday to talk about the buildings and the area. It’s a great opportunity to peek inside some unbelievable homes and meet your neighbors.” The event, which is going on its 31st year, will begin at 10am at the Old Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church (3062 W Palmer) and will continue around the Palmer Square area. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased on the Logan Square Preservation website.
