Curbed Inside: Take a Tour of The Loop’s New 73 E Lake Apartment Tower

September 06, 2014

The Loop’s 73 E Lake topped off last summer, and had its first official move-ins in May. The 42 story tower is now over 60 percent leased, and unlike some other new Loop apartment towers, nearly half of the building’s make up is two bedroom units. Designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB), the building contains a total of 332 apartments and 178 parking spaces. Amenities include an indoor pool with a spa and waterfall feature, a yoga and Pilates studio, a two story “cyber café”, a theater room, game room, an indoor dog run, a large bicycle parking space and a 2,000 square foot event space. Convertible spaces in the building range between $2,280-$2,805 and fall just under 700 square feet in size. One bed units are slightly larger and start off at $2,815 and two bedrooms unit will set one back $3,400-$4,395. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t cooperating when we visited, so we were unable to get good shots of the top floor views, however, we were able to capture everything else.
