Celebrate the Auditorium Theatre’s 125th Anniversary Season

The Auditorium Building in is one of the best-known designs of the architectural design duo Dankmar Adler and Louis Sullivan. At the time of its completion in 1889, it was the tallest building in the city and largest building in the United States. The building’s theater was the first home of the Chicago Civic Opera and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and through the years has also hosted political conventions and even Grateful Dead tours.

This year, the Auditorium Theatre will be celebrating its 125th Anniversary Season with a series of exciting programming, special tours, and more.
