The Lake Geneva Jaycees are celebrating 51 years in 2013, and what better way to celebrate than with their annual family favorite event, the Venetian Festival. This year’s festival near Gerstad Builder’s real estate in Williams Bay promises to be their best ever, and will last Wednesday, August 14 through Sunday, August 18 at Flat Iron Park.

Here’s a look at what this year’s event has in store:

Wednesday, August 14

  • Carnival rides open from 5 to 10:30 p.m. with $20 wristbands
  • Bella Cain, the 2012 Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) “Country Group of the Year” will perform beginning at 8 p.m. The cover charge is $3.

Thursday, August 15

  • Carnival rides open from 5 to 10:30 p.m. with $20 wristbands
  • Chicago’s hottest cover band, The Student Body, will perform at 8 p.m. for $3 per person as part of Retro Night.

Friday, August 16

  • Carnival rides open from 5 to 11:30 p.m.
  • Beer tent open from 5 p.m. to midnight
  • The Troy’s, Wisconsin’s premiere rock, country and dance band will perform at 8 p.m. with a $5 cover charge.

Saturday, August 17

  • Brat stand open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Library Park
  • Craft fair open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Library park
  • Baggo Tournament from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $40 per team with the top team winning 12 cases of beer of your choice.
  • Carnival rides open from 12 to 11:30 p.m. $20 wristbands available from 12 to 5 p.m.
  • Beer tent open from 12 p.m. to midnight
  • Fresh Hops Band will perform for free from 12 to 3 p.m.
  • Too White Crew will light up the stage with their unique style beginning at 8 p.m. for $5.

Sunday, August 18

  • Craft fair open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Library Park
  • Carnival rides open from 12 to 10:30 p.m.
  • Lake Geneva House of Music will put on a free performance from 12 to 3 p.m.
  • Beer tent open from 12 p.m. to midnight
  • The Wonder Lake Ski Team will show their stuff beginning at 6 p.m. at the Geneva Lake Front
  • Brat stand open from 8 to 10 p.m. at Library Park
  • Petty Thieves, a high energy classic rock cover band, will keep you entertained beginning at 8 p.m. with a $3 cover.
  • End the festival with a bang at the spectacular fireworks display, which will begin at 9 p.m. in downtown Lake Geneva
