Early Registration for IBS 2014 Now Open

September 15, 2013

NAHB LOGOThe National Home Builders Association (NAHB) is host to the largest annual light construction trade show, the Internal Builders’ Show® (IBS). This year’s show will be part of the first-ever Design and Construction Week, which will consist of the IBS and the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS). Co-located for the first time, the event will be held in Las Vegas from February 4 through 6, 2014.

The new megashow, which will be the nation’s largest gathering of design and construction professionals, is expected to have 70,000 attendees and 1,500 exhibitors. The combined showroom floor will feature the industry’s top suppliers and manufacturers showcasing the latest and most innovative products in the industry. While the shows remain separate and distinct, registrants will have access to the exhibits of both shows, as well as to the Internal Window Coverings Expo.

“Design and Construction Week is already generating a lot of excitement,” said NAHB Chairman Rick Judson, a home builder from Charlotte, N.C. “Now more than ever, industry professionals can find everything they need under one roof from an expansive exhibit floor with the top products to comprehensive education programs, networking opportunities and special events. Attendees will not want to miss this one-of-a-kind event.”

During early registration in the month of September, registrants for Design and Construction Week can take advantage of several discounts and incentives, including:

  • A free Expo Pass or a $100 discount on early full conference registration for all NAHB members, which includes access to 100-plus education sessions in addition to the expo floors of all three shows.
  • A $50 Expo Pass for nonmembers, which is normally $100, or save $100 off the early full registration fee of $475.
  • Free spouse registration fee for NAHM members and nonmembers. Beginning October 1, the price will jump to $20.

Attendees at this year’s show will have the opportunity to explore emerging design and construction trends, as well as learn new techniques, during the education sessions. They will also have the chance to attend special events, hear expert speakers, participate in awards competitions and partake in networking opportunities during the show.

This year, attendants will also have the chance to visit The New American Home® 2014, a one-of-a-kind green show home, which  is being built in a nearby community. This state-of-the-art home incorporates builders’ best practices in energy efficiency, indoor air quality, safety, convenience and aesthetics.
