Chicago PWB Hosting April Lunch and Learn at Underwriters Laboratories

PWB Greater ChicagoYou are invited to join the Professional Women in Building (PWB) of Greater Chicago to learn more about Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and their safety mission for the building industry at the April Lunch and Learn event.

Held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the speakers for the event will include Kim Delort, UL’s strategy manager for Building and Life Safety, and Betsy Titus, UL’s project manager for Building and Life Safety. Underwriters Laboratories is a global independent safety science company with more than a century of expertise in innovating safety solutions from the public adoption of electricity to new breakthroughs in sustainability, renewable energy and nanotechnology. Dedicated to promoting safe living and working environments, UL helps safeguard people, products and places in important ways, facilitating trade and providing peace of mind.

The Lunch and Learn event is $20 per person to attend, and it will be held at Underwriters Laboratories, which is located at 333 Pfingsten Road in Northbrook. To register for the event, click here.
