Reserve Your Seat at the SSHBA February Membership Meeting

SouthWest Suburban Home Builders AssociationJoin the SouthWest Suburban Home Builders Association (SSHBA) for its February General Membership Meeting, featuring guest speakers Bill Ward and Mitch Levinson. The meeting, which will take place on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 5:30 p.m., will be held at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club in Lemont, Illinois.

The first guest speaker of the evening, Bill Ward, is the executive vice president of the Home Builders Association of Illinois (HBAI). For his primary topics, he will elaborate on recent updates and events in the Springfield area and discuss how Governor Bruce Rauner will benefit the homebuilding industry in the coming year. As the head of all state legislative activities conducted by the HBAI, Bill has decades of experience by which to provide insight into the homebuilding market.

The second speaker, Mitch Levinson, is a managing partner at mRELEVANCE, LLC, a full-service marketing, communication, public relations and interactive agency. Having recently attended the International Builders Show (IBS) in Las Vegas, Mitch will give a recap of IBS and discuss marketing trends for 2015. In addition to his experience in internet marketing, Mitch has served as the prior Chair of the SSHBA and was recognized as the 2014 Chair of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Institute of Residential Marketing (IRM) Board of Trustees. With his combined knowledge of marketing trends and homebuilding, Mitch will provide the latest tips and tricks that will be beneficial to a wide range of industry professionals.

The February General Meeting will take place on Feb. 19 at Ruffled Feathers Golf Course, located at 1 Pete Dye Drive in Lemont, Illinois. Open bar and networking will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by the program at 7 p.m.

Space for this event is limited and reservations will be made on a first come, first served basis. The cost to attend is $35 per person and $45 for non-members.  Please RSVP to the SSHBA Office by Feb. 12, 2015.
