SSHBA Chicago Real EstateReserve your seats today for the Southwest Suburban Home Builders Association’s (SSHBA) March General Membership meeting on Thursday, March 19 at the Ruffled Feathers Golf Club in Lemont, Illinois. The event  will feature a discussion on the 2015 housing market forecast by the National Association of Home Builders’ chief economist and senior vice president, Dr. David Crowe.

Dr. Crowe  is responsible for NAHB’s forecast of housing and economic trends, survey research and analysis, consumer preferences and analysis of government policies that impact the homebuilding industry. His insights can be frequently found on many major media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Fox, CNN and many others.

During the general membership meeting, Dr. Crowe will dicsuss the economic impact of new home construction in 2015 using an innovative forcasting model that he created. This model can estimate the net impact of new housing in more than  500 local U.S. markets including the Chicago Metro area.  An open bar and networking session will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6 p.m. and the presentation at 7 p.m.  The cost is $45 for members and $65 for non-members.
