Venetian Festival Brings Entertainment to Lake Geneva

August 21, 2015

Wonder Lake Water Ski Team FeatureThe annual Venetian Festival on Lake Geneva is underway and lasts through Sunday, Aug. 23! You can join in on the fun at Flat Iron, Seminary or Library parks in Wisconsin.

There is always so much to do and enjoy at the Venetian Festival. While you’re there, you’ll have the chance to be adventurous on the carnival rides, discover new handmade items at the craft fair, listen to musical entertainment, and enjoy the festival’s traditional lighted boat parade followed by a firework display high above Lake Geneva. You can also dig in to the local cuisine, like the brat stand. And, if you get thirsty, visit the beer tent!

The water ski show also brings a huge crowd to the Venetian Festival. This year, the Wonder Lake Water Ski Show is performing on Saturday at 6 p.m. Gerstad Builders’ CEO, Roger Gerstad, holds The Wonder Lake Water Ski Show near and dear to his heart, as he used to be the team’s boat driver and continues to be an avid supporter and sponsor.

On Saturday and Sunday, entertainment will take place all day. Saturday’s shows begin at noon with the Fresh Hops Band and The Acoustic Generation to follow, as well as the Too White Crew. On Sunday, The Geneva House of Music and Christopher’s Project will perform. You can catch the entertainment every day until midnight. To find the full festival schedule, visit
