Lake Geneva Electric Christmas ParadeIt doesn’t have to be summer for your family to come out and enjoy beautiful Lake Geneva! Located near Gerstad Builders’ new home communities, the holiday fun never ends at the 41st Annual Electric Christmas Parade. On Saturday, December 3, the community will come together to enjoy the nighttime parade in downtown Lake Geneva. Come join in on the float competitions, live music, and Christmas cheer!

This year’s parade will begin at 5 p.m. at Williams and Marshall streets and commute south on Broad Street, west on Main Street, and end headed north on Cook Street. Nearby schools and businesses will participate in this holiday tradition, making it simple for the entire community to become involved. The theme for the parade is “Celebrate Your Inner Elf,” meaning focus on the positive things in life and express excitement for the holiday season. Inner Elf behavior encourages people to smile, be yourself, give compliments freely, and encourage others to be cheerful.

Non-profit organizations are encouraged to participate in the float competition. There will be five judges that donate a total of $500 to the float that best depicts this year’s theme based on appearance, interpretation of the theme, creativity and animation.
